A: Jesus-followers are called to worship in spirit and in truth. True worship is a life that flows from sacrifice, that finds its roots in God’s mercy, and that expresses itself in action. True worship is not lip service and requires the engagement of our full hearts in response to following God’s agenda and not ours. True worship is not contained in an hour a week, in songs we sing, or in the words we speak. It is a life that responds to God’s invitation to join with him in the restoration of the world around us to a place of wholeness and into living a life in full surrender to his will for our lives, and not our own.
